charGinG the battery
This device is powered by an internal, integrated rechargeable battery. For best results, the first time
you use your sportline MeTa 1075, let it charge for about three hours or until the battery icon in the
status area of the display shows that the battery is fully charged. if the MeTa 1075 isn't used for a
while, the battery may drain and might need to be charged.
estimated usage time for a single charge is approximately 7 hours of music play/heart rate
functionality. recharging the battery should occur when:
1. The display fades in part or completely
2. The battery indicator icon displays weak (
you can charge the meta 1075 battery in two ways:
• connect the MeTa to a computer
• using a usb Power adapter (not included)
to recHarge tHe battery:
1. connect the unit to a usb 2.0 port on your computer using the usb cable included.
NOTE: The computer must be turned on and not in sleep mode.
2. if the battery icon in the display is animating from empty (
charging. if the battery icon is not animating or if your computer gives you a usb low-power
notice, the unit may not be connected to a high-power usb port. Try another usb port on your
computer.
3. when battery icon indicates fully charged (

connectinG the unit to a Pc
connect the sportline MeTa 1075 to your computer to add music or files, and charge the battery.
NOTE: The battery doesn't charge when your computer is in sleep mode.
connectIng tHe unIt to a computer
• no driver is required if your Pc is win2000 / Me / XP or above version.
• connect the device and your Pc with the usb cable.
• you can directly add, copy or delete any files stored in the device. you can also download music
from your Pc to the device.
1. connect the unit to a usb 2.0 port on your computer using the usb cable included.
2. if the battery icon is not animating or if your computer gives you a usb low-power notice, the unit
may not be connected to a high-power usb port. Try another usb port on your computer..
Note: The USB port on most keyboards doesn't provide enough power.
