Loosen the 4 bolts on the handle bracket. (1) (2) 2. Insert the right handle with the throttle lever attached and the left handle into the bracket.

Trueshopping 6. Using the plug spanner/screw driver combination, turn the nut anti-clockwise until it comes off. It should be quite easy and take less than two turns. 7. Take off the nut and the top part of the bicycle bell like object (it is round like a very small saucer) and keep the both safe as you will need them for the brush cutter.
Trueshopping Fuelling Fuelling. Always switch the engine off before filling up. Do not smoke whilst fuelling. The use of unleaded petrol is recommended for environment protection reasons. Only use two-stroke engine oil for air-cooled engines. Ratio of mixture 40:1 Open the tank cap carefully so that any overpressure may be let out and the fuel does not splash out.

Trueshopping Check that there is no leakage on the tank cap and fuel lines. If there are leaks this product should not be started. Never use a device with damaged ignition cable and spark plug connector as there is a risk of sparks.
Trueshopping Starting The Brush Cutter/Strimmer Once you have assembled and fuelled the strimmer you are able to start it. To do this you: 1. Open the choke. 2. Switch on the engine using the switch located on right handle. 3. Put engine into “half throttle mode” by pulling the throttle lever and pressing in the button on the same handle.
Trueshopping Safety Precautions Protecting You All users must be at least 18 years of age. Minors and those with infirmities should not use the brush cutter/strimmer. Wear appropriate protection. Wear safety shoes with steel toes or rough sole. Wear appropriate clothes that is tight fitting.

Trueshopping Kickback. When working with metal blades, a kickback of the whole machine or a sudden pull forwards may occur if fixed objects (trees, branches, stones or the like) are hit. Such a kickback occurs abruptly without advance warning and may result in loss of control of the machine and hazards to the operator and bystanders.
Trueshopping Protecting Others Keep a safe working area of at least 15 m or 50 feet. Do not let any unauthorised persons approach the machine. While you are working, observe any children very carefully and be aware of their safety.
Trueshopping Protecting The Machine Always use the correct tool for the job to be done. E.g. avoid using small tools and accessories for work that should be done with a heavy tool. Use the tool only for the purposes it was designed for.
Trueshopping Safely Using The Machine When cutting or strimming, adhere to any regulations about working time, noise etc. Do not work at times of generally recognised rest. Any hard objects – stones, metal parts etc. should be removed before using the machine.

Trueshopping Adjusting the Strimmer Fibre Warning! The thread spool still runs for a short while after the engine has been turned off. Keep your hands and feet away from the rotation area. Wait until it comes to a dead stop before adjusting the fibre.
Trueshopping Transportation and Storage If the Grass Strimmer/Brush Cutter is to be out of operation for a long period of time, say one month or over winter, take action as follows: Drain the oil and fuel tank. Remove and clean the string coil and the blade.
