Do not place your fingers between the seat upholstery and the seat tubes when opening or folding the frame.

    Parking Brake The brakes are preset and adjustment should only be necessary if the brakes become loose or no longer function correctly. To apply the parking brake push the brake lever towards the front of the wheelchair. Push the lever back to release the brakes. See photos below. These levers are to be used by hand only.

Should any defects become apparent on your wheelchair or if the brakes do not respond as well as expected cease using the wheelchair immediately and return it to your Z-Tec mobil- ity dealer for inspection.
