    Introduction These wheelchairs have been designed for persons with limited or no personal mobility for transport only. This user’s manual is compiled from the latest specifications and product information avail- able at the time of publication. We reserve the right to make changes as they become neces- sary.

    Parking Brake The brakes are preset and adjustment should only be necessary if the brakes become loose or no longer function correctly. To apply the parking brake push the brake lever towards the front of the wheelchair. Push the lever back to release the brakes. See photos below. These levers are to be used by hand only.

Should any defects become apparent on your wheelchair or if the brakes do not respond as well as expected cease using the wheelchair immediately and return it to your Z-Tec mobil- ity dealer for inspection.
