Battery Installation Place the D-cell battery adapter in the battery tray with the contacts pointed toward the rear of the base plate (away from the mounting bracket). Secure the battery adapter with the hook-and-loop battery straps. Attach the power leads from the two-branched power cable to the battery contacts or terminals.

Mounting the Unit on the bracket Line up the unit with the mounting bracket and snap it into place. Push the unit forward or backward to adjust the viewing angle. Suction Cup Transducer Assembly Place a washer on each side of the transducer mount and slide it into the transducer bracket.

Moisten the suction cup and press it onto the hull as firmly as possible. The transducer should be adjusted so it is parallel to the ground. Tie the nylon cord to the boat and set the power pack and sonar unit in the desired location.
