  • Page 3 IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ As fresh lumber acclimates to its new environment, the natural tendencies of the tree can show itself in the form of checks, or “cracks” in the lumber. In almost all cases this is normal and it will not affect the structural integrity of your play set.
  • Page 4 • ALL SLIDES: 125 LBS. Tree Frogs recommends that the weight limits for all components must not be exceeded. Failure to adhere to these and other safety guidelines could result in damage to the play set and injury to the users.

Center the Tarp on the boards and mark the location of the snap at the front of the fort on each side. Place a Snap Screw in the location marked. 2: Continue working down the side of the fort in the same manner keeping the Tarp tight at all times.

Start with one 4 X 4 X 13-3/8" A-Frame Block, one 4 X 4 X 13-3/8" A-Frame Block (Sunk), and one 4 X 4 X 7-7/8" Center A-Frame Block. 2: Arrange the components using the dimensions shown below as a guide for proper placement.

  • Page 49 STEP 23 Attaching The Swing Beam You will need another person for this step. 1: Raise the Swing assembly up to the fort allowing the A-Frame Legs to scissor as the Beam rises. 2: Rest the Beam on top of the Tri-Plate, lining up the holes of the Beam to the holes in the Tri- Plate.
  • Page 50 STEP 24 Attaching Cross Member A second person is required for this step. 1: The 4 X 4 X 68" A-Frame Cross Member will attach to the A-Frame Legs. Height will vary based on the grade of your yard. The best way to attach the Cross Member is to lift it so that the countersunk holes are centered on the Swing Legs while at the same time level.
  • Page 51 STEP 25 Safety Handles 1: The Safety Handles will mount to the fort above the Ladder and Rock Wall. The Safety Handles can be at any height above the Ladder and Rock Wall as long as access to the fort is not compromised. 2: When you have determined the height, attach the Safety Handles to the fort with #14 X 1"...
