MIDI IN: Receives the MIDI data from an external MIDI device such as a computer or other MIDI keyboard. The DIGITAL MIDI data is played by your TB5200. MIDI OUT: Transmits the MIDI data of this TB5200 to control other MIDI device.
LINE IN: The sound from an external sound source, for example a CD Player, iPod or other audio device can be connected to the TB5200. This makes it possible to play along to the music played by the CD-Player, iPad, Mp3 player.

D.S.P (Digital Signal Processor) The TB5200 keyboard is equipped with a high quality D.S.P. or Digital Signal Processor which is used to add effects or enhance the sounds. The D.S.P effect types are listed below 7). REVERB Pressing [REVERB] button, activates the REVERB function, then use the [+/-] buttons or the rotary data dial to select from 10 kinds of DSP type.

[-TRANS+] function makes it possible to shift the pitch of this TB5200 up or down in semitone intervals up to a maximum of 12 semitones (one octave). By transposing the pitch of your TB5200 keyboard makes it possible to play in easier or more familiar signatures, and to have the TB5200 transpose the sound to match difficult key signatures.

User Voice Control It is possible to modify any of the TB5200's existing voices, and then save the modified voice to a memory location.The various parameters such as Envelope, Vibrato, Filter are editable and save-able to the User Voce Bank (More information on how to save and recall these edited voices is given in this manual, please refer to the instructions on page .

2). Vibrato Vibrato is an effect that periodically or regularly varies the pitch of a voice for a quivering sound to get a richer and more natural tone. The change in pitch is in a smooth pattern similar to a sine wave. (Hint, this effect is common with vocals, and brass instruments as well as stringed instruments like violins and cellos, where the players wiggle their fingers up and down rapidly whilst playing a note.) 6. Save User Voice Your TB5200 contains 10 banks for saving User Voices. You can modify any voice's Envelope, Vibrato and Filter parameters and then save this New sound or edited Sound to the User Voice Bank.
1. Selecting a Style Any of your TB5200's 187 styles can be selected via the numeric pad or rotary selector knob. This can be done either before or during accompaniment playback. (Hint: Remember to check that the [STYLE] indicator is indicated by the LCD, or you might change the [Voice] unintentionally.
Setting the Auto Accompaniment Chord Split Point Holding [CHORD] button for more than three seconds, then pressing any key between E0 and G6 to select chord split point (0 through 75), the left side of this key (this key is not included) will become left section (Auto Chord area) and the right side of this key (this key included) will become the right hand (Melody) section.
4. Accompaniment Control Your TB5200 is equipped with a range of accompaniment "features" these being Stop/Start, synchro, introduction, fill in 1, fill in 2, ending. These can be used to enhance the Auto-play features. Start / Stop .The [START/STOP] button starts and stops the selected accompaniment style immediately.

ENDING STOP 3). Starting the Accompaniment with an Introduction Any of your TB5200 accompaniment patterns can be started with a beautifully matching introduction by pressing the [INTRO/ENDING] button. If you press the [SYNCHRO] button and then the [INTRO/ENDING] button, the accompaniment will WAIT FOR YOU, and start the introduction as soon as a chord is detected as played in the AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT section of the keyboard.

7. Metronome The metronome sound is alternately turned on and off by pressing the [METRONOME] button. When this is set to ON, the beat indicator flashes at the current tempo. Hold the [METRONOME] button on, you can use the [+/-] buttons or the rotary data dial to select the Metronome's time signature type,it will be displayed in LCD screen.

Song Recording This digital keyboard lets you record your performances and Registration settings to a USB Stick. Each user song lets you record up to sixteen independent tracks. These include not only the voices for the keyboard performance, but also the auto accompaniment parts. It provides two different ways to record: Quick Recording and Multi Track Recording.

TB5200 can "talk to" the computer.A practical example of this would be for the computer to be used as a sequencer / recording device, where the notes played on the TB5200 will be sent down the MIDI cable to the computer.
