Alphanumeric Keypad lets you enter numbers, letters,
and characters, and navigate within menus. Press and
hold keys 2–9 for speed dialing.

SYM Key allows you to enter symbols when entering text
using the QWERTY® keyboard.

Function Key allows you to enter an alternate character
(such as @ for the S key) on the QWERTY® keyboard. (See
"Entering Text With the QWERTY® Keyboard"on page 47
for details.)

SHIFT Key lets you change letter capitalization when
entering text using the QWERTY® keyboard.

SPACE Key lets you enter a space.

Softkeys let you select softkey actions or menu items
corresponding to the bottom left and right lines on the
display screen.

BACK Key deletes characters from the display in text
entry mode. When in a menu, press this key to return to
the previous menu.

ENTER Key selects the highlighted choice when
