DRIVER'S CHECK A T START-UP
PerforJ.Il the following test:
1. Turn ignition switch ON. The anti-lock waming lamp shouldcome'ou,
go off, come on again.
2. Drive the vehicle at a speed above 6 mph (10 km/h). The anti-lock;
warning lamp ShOli1d go out.

Caution
- On vehicles fitted with retarders, the retarder must
, be inhibited during anti-lock operation. An output is
provided to drive a relay to inhibit the retarder.

Your motor home is equipped withABS anti-lock air brakes. Air brakes are
II).ore'sensitive than hydraulic brakes. Practice stopping in a safe, unobstructed
area until you get the feel of the brake pedal.
The red needle on the air pressure gauge on the instrument panelindicates
front br~ke system air pressure, The-white needleindicates rear brake system
/ air pressure. Please note that the vehicle will not move until air pressure is
sufficient to release the brake safety springs. The gauge must indicate a
minimum of 60 psi on the gauge before the motor home can be moved. A dash
indicator will light and a buzzer will sound until the proper operating pressure
-is reached.
