Important Precautions

Remove Alkaline batteries before using the external AC adapter!
Failure to do so will result in damage to the batteries and/or the player,
and could cause a fire! Do not use the AC adapter in or around water.
Always turn the unit OFF before removing it from power!
Failure to do this may cause the player to "lockup", and may cause
damage to the LASER lens!
Remove batteries from the unit if it is not to be used for several days.
This prevents batteries from damaging the player if they start to leak, and
prevents batteries from discharging over time, due to the active circuitry
used in the unit.
Never touch the LASER lens!
