Page 3 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: - Read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance and keep it for future reference. - Ensure that the voltage on the rating label corresponds with the wall socket voltage before inserting the plug. - Position the appliance on an even, stable, flat surface, which can withstand high temperatures, away from other heat sources and possible water splashes.
Page 4 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: - Open the cover. - Remove the basket and attach the handle by pivoting until the rods engage in the housing (Fig. 3). - Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the basket and bowl with soapy water, rinse well to remove any soap and then dry.
Page 5 - Canola or sunflower oil is recommended for frying. - Do not mix different oils. - Wash potatoes before frying to prevent them from sticking.
Page 6 CLEANING: - Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the oil and appliance to cool down completely before undertaking any cleaning task. - Remove the basket. - Pour out the used oil at the designated slot, situated at the rear left corner, into a container (not the sink).
