The GC is closed after all PLUs have been entered and the
customer wants to pay. The signed-in operator can press
the <Subtotal> key or

Void serves to cancel entries.
Merchandise return is a negative account where goods
are taken back and money is paid out or deducted from the
open balance.
Void or merchandise return is only possible if the opera-
tor has been vested with the required authorization. The
authorization for every operator has to be elaborated and
configured together with your Vectron dealer (see chapter
12.8).
