To turn off the ON TIMER on the JVC TV using only the buttons on the TV:
1. Press the MENU button to display the menu.
2. Use the CHANNEL (up/down) buttons to select the ON TIMER setting.
3. Use the VOLUME (left/right) buttons to set the ON TIMER to "0:00" to disable it.
