Windows Sound System compatible sound
system provides internal speaker as well as
jacks for an external microphone and
headphone. It also has a volume control dial.
This S-Video out port lets you transfer NTSC or
PAL data to external devices. See Chapter 8,
Television, for details.
The computer is equipped with a LAN card that
supports Ethernet LAN (10 Mbit/s, 10BASE-T) or
Fast Ethernet LAN (100 Mbit/s, 100BASE-TX). It
is preinstalled as a standard device in some
markets. (Depending on model you purchased)
Some computers in this series are equipped with
a Wireless LAN mini card that is compatible with
other LAN systems based on Direct Sequence
Spread Spectrum/Orthogonal Frequency Division
Multiplexing radio technology that complies with
the IEEE 802.11 Standard (Revision A, B, G and
Draft N).

Some computers in this series are equipped with
an internal modem. The internal modem provides
capability for data and fax communication. It
supports V.90 (V.92). Refer to V.90 section in
Appendix

supported only in USA, Canada and Australia.
