Installation
Center/surround speakers
Attach the speaker feet to the speakers
These speakers can be set-up either standing or lying down, or they
can be attached to a wall.
The speaker feet help to keep the speakers in position and prevent
scratching of your furniture.
Attach the speaker feet to suit the set up you choose as shown in the
illustrations. [A]
Attach to the positions indicated with the shaded circles (´).
Ensure you do not cover the holes when attaching the speaker feet to
the rear of the speaker.
[B] Attaching to a wall
The speakers can be attached vertically or horizontally.
Screw the screws (not included) into the wall or pillar as shown in the
diagram.

Set speaker onto screws and slide through bracket to lock into posi-
tion.
Note
The wall or pillar on which the speakers are to be attached should be
capable of supporting 5 kg (11 lb.) per screw.
[C] Moving the brand plate
You can rotate the brand plate.
To prevent damage to the plate, wrap the end of a flat-head screw-
driver with cloth, insert under the plate and lift it. Rotate to the re-
quired position.
Use only the supplied speakers.
The combination of the unit and the included speakers provides the
best sound. Using other speakers can damage the unit and sound
quality will be adversely affected.
Caution
³Use the speakers only with the recommended
system. Failure to do so may lead to damage
to the amplifier and/or the speakers, and may
result in the risk of fire. Consult a qualified ser-
vice person if damage has occurred or if you
experience a sudden change in performance.
³Do not attempt to attach these speakers to
walls using methods other than those de-
scribed in this manual.
If irregular coloring occurs on your television
The front and center speakers are designed to be used close to a
television, but the picture may be affected with some televisions and
set-up combinations.
If this occurs, turn the television off for about 30 minutes.
The television's demagnetizing function should correct the problem.
If it persists, move the speakers further away from the television.
Note
The surround speakers do not have magnetic shielding. Do not place
them near televisions, personal computers or other devices easily in-
fluenced by magnetism.
