    This makes spontaneous or scheduled recording to your hard disk a breeze. With you new Pinnacle product, you have immediate access to the latest news using teletext. In addition, an Electronic Program Guide (EPG) gives you an overview of a complete range of television programs.

    Pinnacle MediaCenter Pinnacle MediaManager The Pinnacle MediaManager is installed on your PC and is used to import music files, movies, and digital photos into the MediaManager database. You also manage these files and keep them in order in the MediaManager. You can create your own playlists for collecting your favorite music, movies and photos.

Music playback Static visualization Here you can choose between different visualizations that can be displayed on your screen while you listen to music. Show MP3 tag info Activate this option to display different types of information during MP3 playback, for example, artist and title.

After clicking Audio, all the available hardware devices will be displayed. That means that if a music file has been assigned to the Pop genre, it can't also be assigned to the Classical genre.

Pinnacle MediaManager automatically imports all the titles and radio stations in your Rhapsody Library and even lets you combine Rhapsody music with other titles to create new playlists.

    MPEG 2 movie file into the MPEG 1 VCD format for burning onto a CD. If you use the Pinnacle ShowCenter, this file conversion function is useful for formats, which you cannot directly play back via the ShowCenter Player such as, for example, DV-AVI video clips.

    Glossary 16:9-Format: Also called widescreen. Television format where the width-to- height ratio of the display area is 16:9 instead of 4:3. The first line of the TV picture contains additional code that instructs any 16:9 television to enlarge the picture (see also "4:3 format") 4:3 format: This is the traditional television format.

Streaming does not download all the data at once, but downloads it in stages using a store-and-forward method. The data does not arrive as a continuous file, but is cached in the buffer, which can create delays at the start of transmission.
