STORAGE CHECKLISTS

. The following checklists will help you prepare your motor home for
storage. Use the checklistthat applies to the storage
~onditions
you anticipate.
These checklists do not include every detail required. You may want to
expand them to suit your needs. Contact your dealer-for additional suggestions
suitable to your climate and storage conditions.
SHORT-TERM STORAGE (less than 60. clays)

Wash the motor home exterior
and underside. Hose off accumu-
lations of mud and road salts.

Thoroughly clean the interior
of the motor home, including car-
pets,counter tops, lavy, tub and
shower, and galley.

Inflate tiresJo maximum rated
cold pressure.

Park the motor home as level
as possiblefrontto rear and side
to side. Block wheels front and
rear, and leave the parking brake
OFF.

Check the charge in the bat-
tery. Recharge as necessary.

Remove battery cables. Clean
terminals, top and sides of batter-
ies and battery boxes: Reinstall
cables, dress with a plastic igni-
tion spray. Use battery discon-
nectswitch/es, if equipped.

Drain holding tanks, toilet, and
fresh water timk.
o
Tu~noff
water pump and water
heater master switches.
o
Turn off LP gas at tank valve.

Turn refrigerator and furnace
OFF.
o
Turn off all range and oven
burner valves and pilot valves (if
equipped).

off ice maker.
