5. Using Safe Mode and
Hard Reset
Using Safe mode
* To recover from malfunction
state of your phone

Turn off your phone and
reboot. During power on there
is an LG animation screen,
when this appears press and
hold the Menu key untill the
phone is fully powered up.
to check if his has be done
correctly you should see "safe
mode" in the lower left corner.
Note: Safe mode starts the
handset with the bare essentials.
Items such as downloaded
applications and some features
will be disabled in this mode.
This is a diagnostic mode, used
for trouble shooting the handset.
* Using Hard Reset (Factory
Reset)
Use Hard Reset to initialise your
phone to the original condition.
Turn on the phone by pressing
and holding Power + Home +
Down volume key at the same
time (for 10 seconds), the
phone will turn on and perform
factory reset immediately.
WARNING
If you perform Hard Reset,
all user applications and
user data will be deleted.
Please remember to back up
any important data before
performing Hard Reset.
6. Connecting to Wi-Fi
networks
Use Wi-Fi on your phone to
access a wireless access point,
or "hotspot". Some access
points are open and you can
simply connect to them. Others
are hidden or implement other
security features, so you must
configure your phone so it can
connect to them.
Turn off Wi-Fi when you're not
using it, to extend the life of your
battery.
