6. Rear Disc Rotor

C: INSPECTION
1) Secure the disc rotor by tightening five wheel
nuts.
2) Set a dial gauge on the disc rotor. Turn the disc
rotor to check runout.
CAUTION:
Securely fix the disc rotor to hub.
NOTE:
• Make sure that the dial gauge is set 5 mm (0.20
in) inward of rotor outer perimeter.
• If the disc rotor runout is above standard value,
inspect the play of hub bearing axial direction and
runout of axle hub. <Ref. to DS-31, INSPECTION,
Rear Axle.> If the bearing and hub are normal, re-
place the disc rotor.
Disc rotor runout limit:
0.070 mm (0.0028 in)
3) Measure the disc rotor thickness.
If the thickness of disc rotor is outside the standard
value, replace the disc rotor.
NOTE:
Make sure that a micrometer is set 5 mm (0.20 in)
inward of the rotor outer perimeter.
