Setting the basic sound
selection menu—SEL
You can adjust the sound characteristics to your
preference.

Enter the SEL menu (see page 5).

Select a setting item—"Fad/Bal,"
"Subwoofer," or "VolAdjust."
When selecting "Fad/Bal" and
"Subwoofer," press
enter the selected menu.

Adjust the selected setting item.
• To adjust other SEL settings, press
BACK.

Finish the procedure.

Ex.: When "Fad/Bal" is selected
To adjust fader and balance
—Fad/Bal
Adjust the fader—speaker output balance
between the front and rear speakers.
Adjust the balance—speaker output balance
between the left and right speakers.

To adjust subwoofer output—
Subwoofer
Select an appropriate cutoff frequency level
according to the subwoofer connected.
• Frequencies higher than the selected level
are cut off to the subwoofer.
Adjust the subwoofer output level.
• Upmost—front only
• Downmost—rear only
• Leftmost—left only
• Rightmost—right only
• 55Hz / 85Hz / 115Hz
• 0 (min.) to 8 (max.)
