Preparing AIBO

The battery pack supplied with AIBO has been charged to some extent. It is
recommended that you charge the battery pack fully (page 23) before you play
with AIBO.

Grasp AIBO securely by the body, turn it upside down, and open
its stomach cover.
Notes
• Lift AIBO by the body, and not by its extremities.
• Do not touch the charging terminal with your hand. Doing so may soil the
terminal and cause poor contact.

Insert the supplied battery pack in the direction of the arrow until
it clicks into place, then close the stomach cover.
