Removal of Cast Iron Panels
The removal of the cast iron panels is a three-step process (See figure 9). The top panel is
not bolted to the stove and is removed by simply lifting it straight up. Each side panel is
held in place with 2 sets of nuts and bolts. After removing the bolts the sides slide back
and can be removed. Once both sides have been removed you have access to the Versa
grate and Igniter wires on the right hand side. The Combustion fan, Vacuum switch, High
limit switch and the P.O.F. switch can be found on the left side. There is no need to
remove the cast iron panels to access the Convection fan. Wiring connections can be
reached by removing the sheet metal back panel.
