Area Precautions
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM BURNS:
Turn the Master Switch on the back of the

heater off, to
position, unplug the heater
from its electrical outlet, and allow it to cool
completely before assembling, moving, or
making any adjustments to the heater.
1. Place Heater on dry, hard, stable floor away from
combustible materials. DO NOT USE ON CARPET.
2. Supervise children closely when near heater.
3. Keep pets away from heater.
Controls
Figure A: Rear Panel
Master Switch: Located on the Rear Panel,
this Switch turns the heater off and disables the
power buttons on the remote and control panel,
reducing the risk of accidental operation.
CAUTION: TO PREVENT HEATER DAMAGE:
Turn off the power switch and wait for the fan to stop
BEFORE turning off the Master Switch or unplugging.

Temperature Display: This displays the current
temperature of air coming into the heater.
Power Button: Press while the master switch is

position to turn the heater on or off.
Timer Button: Press to enter timer adjustment mode.
The timer setting in hours will display and flash; timer
disabled (heater on until turned off) is displayed as --.
• Press the Up (Hi/Low) or Down (°C/°F)
Buttons to adjust the timer.
• Timer adjustable from 0.5 to 8 hours.
• Wait 5 seconds without touching buttons
to exit timer adjustment mode.
• The heater will sound an alert 5 seconds before
automatically shutting off from the Timer function.
Temp Button: Press to enter thermostat setting mode.
This adjusts the temperatures that the heater cycles
on and off at. The thermostat temperature setting will
display and flash to show it is in adjustment mode.
• Press the Up (Hi/Low) or Down (°C/°F)
Buttons to adjust the thermostat.
• Wait 5 seconds without touching buttons
to exit thermostat adjustment mode.
• The heater will switch to standby mode when
the room reaches the thermostat temperature
setting until the temperature drops.
Hi/Low (Up) Button: Toggles between HI (1500 watt)
and LOW (750 watt) heat output.
The LED to the left of the temperature display indicates
the current heat output setting. (This button is also used
as the UP button during timer/thermostat adjustment.)
°C/°F (Down) Button: Toggles between Celsius and
Fahrenheit temperature display modes.
The LED to the right of the temperature display
indicates the current format. (This button is also used
as the DOWN button during timer/thermostat adjustment.)
