click the file that you downloaded.
5. Now click on the "Update Firmware" button.
6. You should now refresh the page and see the new software version shown in the opposite bank from
which you had been running. Click the radio button next to the new bank, and reboot the system.
WARNING
DO NOT TURN OFF THE UNIT OR DISCONNECT THE NETWORK CABLE DURING THE UPDATE PROCESS.
INTERRUPTING THE PROGRAMMING OF THE Z/IP'S FLASH MODULE CAN CORRUPT THE DATA AND RENDER
THE UNIT UNUSABLE.
13.3 Installing a New Flash Card
In certain circumstances it may be necessary to replace the internal flash card containing the Z/IP ONE software.
This card is located inside the unit.
WARNING
PLEASE FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS CLOSELY. ENSURE THAT YOU ARE PROPERLY GROUNDED AND HAVE
TAKEN ESD PRECAUTIONS BEFORE YOU INSTALL ANY CARD INSIDE THE Z/IP. THE Z/IP CONTAINS SENSI-
TIVE ELECTRONIC DEVICES THAT CAN BE DAMAGED BY IMPROPER HANDLING. CONTACT TELOS SYSTEMS
CUSTOMER SUPPORT WITH ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THESE PROCEDURES.
1. Power down the unit and unplug the AC power cord before opening the chassis.
2. Remove the 10 top cover screws of the unit and store them in a safe place. Remove the unit's top cover.
3. Locate the SD card and slot on the motherboard of the Z/IP.
4. Push the SD Card until you hear a click, then release. This will eject the SD card.
5. Carefully slide the card out of the slot.
6. Insert the new SD card into the slot and firmly press it until it clicks.
7. Place the top cover of the Z/IP back into its proper position. Reinstall the 10 screws.
8. Attach the AC power cord and power on the unit.
