Quick Start Guide

Playing Voices

Each CP4 STAGE Performance can contain three
different Parts (MAIN, LAYER, and SPLIT); each
CP40 STAGE Performance can contain two (MAIN and
SPLIT/LAYER). A Voice is assigned to each of these
Parts. Only the name of the MAIN Part's Voice is shown
on the Performance screen when the instrument is turned
on in its default condition, and only this Voice is set to
produce a sound (i.e., only the [MAIN] button is lit).

Quick Reset function
The procedures described in this section assume that
the stage piano has just been turned on in its default
condition — that is, with no changes made to its
settings and the Performance screen displayed. If,
however, you have changed settings or cannot return
to that configuration, you can press the [ENTER]
button with the [SHIFT] button held down to initialize
the currently selected Performance.
Hold down the
[SHIFT] button...
NOTICE
Unsaved edits are restored to their original condition by
the Quick Reset function. Be sure, therefore, to store
(page 34) all important data before executing it.
