Recording, rebroadcasting of paid or other public display may violate such laws and result in criminal or civil penalty, or both. RBC has tried to make this manual user friendly and helpful. It is important that only RaySat Broadcasting Corporation certified installers should install the product. This manual is subject to change without notice.
RaySat Broadcasting Corporation’s (RBC) T7 System is the innovative antenna system that provides live satellite TV to a vehicle, while in motion. This manual will provide basic instructions on how to install the T7 antenna and receiver into most vehicles. Only RBC certified installers should install the T7 system.
2 Installation and User Safety Instructions Read this manual thoroughly and carefully before attempting to install or operate any T7 antenna system. Only RBC certified installers should install the T7 System. Be sure to follow all warnings and cautionary instructions in this manual.
3-1 Satellite elevation look angle 3.2 Azimuth and Elevation The DBS satellites are located in the southern sky. The T7 is a sophisticated mobile antenna with a satellite recognition and tracking system. The antenna automatically determines and maintains the proper azimuth and elevation angle without user intervention.
3.4 Standing Water Interference When a vehicle is parked, rain and morning dew may collect on the radome of the T7. This may cause interference with satellite reception. Once the vehicle is in motion, any standing water on the antenna should roll off and the interference resolved.
4 T7 System Components and Parameters 4.1 System Components The T7 System is comprised of the following components: T7 Antenna The antenna houses the electronics beneath a weather-tight radome. It is installed onto the vehicle’s roof and connected with a single coaxial cable to the receiver inside the vehicle.

5 Universal Mounting Bracket Installation This section provides procedures of how to properly install the T7 antenna onto the vehicle’s roof when using a roof rack or compatible side rails (Figure 5-1). 5.1 Assembling the Mount 1. Attach the rotating joints to the mount using the 5mm screw (Figure 5-1). Do not tighten the screw completely.

6. Secure the bracket support onto the rotating clamp (Figure 5-7). Tools and Installation: Install the T7 antenna as far away as possible from any satellite radio antennas to prevent interference. Figure 5-7 Secure bracket support 7. Attach the antenna to the mount using the provided screws. There are 4 mounting locations for the antenna.
Tools and Installation: Using an electric screwdriver can help to tighten the clamp quickly; however, caution should be used while tightening. Set the electric screwdriver to the lowest speed. Figure 5-11 Begin adjusting the clamp T7 Installation & User Manual...
