TROUBLE SHOOTING - TWIN CYLINDER IGNITION
PROBLEM CHECK
NO SPARK 1. Connection 1. Check each coupler
2. Stop switch 1.
Inferior insulation of stop switch
2. Short circuit of lead wire
3. Ignition coil 1. Disconnection of primary winding
2. Short circuit of primary winding
3. Disconnection of secondary winding

4. Short circuit of secondary winding

(In 3 & 4 normal resistance to be 1100 ohms)
4. Flywheel 1. Breaking of exciter coil (normally 250 ohms
magneto between plate and black lead)
2. Short circuit of exciter coil
3. Breaking of pulser coil (normally 65 ohms
between black lead and brown-white lead)
4. Short circuit of pulser coil
5. Short circuit of breaking of lead wires
