- Page 3 NTRODUCTION Thanks you for purchasing the VMS4™! This brief guide is a step by step instruction to get you up and running as quickly as possible. ETTINGS • Unpack your new VMS4™. • Plug your VMS4™ in to your computer using the included USB cable. • Plug your VMS4™ into a power outlet using the included power adaptor. • Turn on the VMS4. • Make sure the Interface Mode switch on the front panel (4 Out/8 Out) is set to 4 OUT. • Make sure that the USB/ANALOG switches on the front panel on MIDILOG™ channels 2 & 3 are set to USB. • Make sure the NORMAL/REVERSE switch on the front panel is set to NORMAL. • On Channel 2 & 3, make sure the GAIN Knob is set to 12 o‘clock. ©American Audio® ‐ www.americanaudio.us VMS4™ Quickstart Guide Page 3 ...
- Page 4 NSTALLATION • Install the included Virtual DJ software as instructed. • The VMS4™ needs to be connected to your computer to complete software installation. • Make sure ASIO drivers are installed if needed. They are part of the software. • The Faders (Volume/Crossfader) and GAIN/EQ knobs will not move on the screen when you move them on the controller. Once the software is installed, you are ready to make music! LAYBACK Now you are ready to load a track and play music: • Using your computer mouse, select a folder (on the right of the browser) then a song (left on the navigator) and drag song to deck A or B.* • Now press PLAY. *There are multiple ways to load music, this is the easiest to get started. ©American Audio® ‐ www.americanaudio.us VMS4™ Quickstart Guide Page 4 ...
