Manual Focus

Manual focus can be used when autofocus does not produce the
desired results.
1 Select manual focus.
Highlight Manual focus in the focus
mode menu (0 155) and press 2.
2 Choose a magnification.
Highlight an option and press J.
Choose from 10× zoom, 5× zoom, 2×
zoom, and 1× zoom (zoom off ).
3 Display the manual focus guides.
In the shooting display, press J to
magnify the view at the center of the
frame by the amount selected in
Step 2 (this feature is not available
during movie recording or in slow-
motion movie mode). Manual focus
guides are also displayed.
