Inserting the Batteries
Open the battery compartment (8) on the underside of the keyboard. Next,
insert the supplied batteries. Take care to insert the batteries in the device
observing the correct polarity (+ and – ) Then press the On/Off button (9) on
the underside of the keyboard to power the keyboard on.
The keyboard features a battery level indicator. When the indicator (1) lights,
the batteries are exhausted. When this happens, replace the batteries with
new batteries of the same type.
After inserting the batteries into the keyboard, the pairing
indicator (3) will flash several times during synchronisation
with the USB receiver. When the synchronisation is
completed, the status indicator will stop lighting.
Connecting the USB Receiver
Plug the USB receiver into a free USB 2.0 port on your powered-on
computer.
The operating system will detect the new hardware and will automatically
install the corresponding driver. Depending on the operating system, one of
the following messages will appear:
Under Windows Vista
When connecting the receiver for the first time, Windows Vista™ will
prompt "Installing device driver software". Wait until the message "The
devices are now ready to use" appears. Your keyboard has been
successfully configured and can now be used.

Under Windows
When connecting the receiver for the first time, Windows 2000/XP will
prompt "Found New Hardware". Wait until the message "Your new
hardware is installed and ready to use" appears before using the
keyboard.
You may continue using any existing keyboard and/or
mouse in parallel.
