HOw TO UsE THE MUsIc PlAyER
Though the MyShot
®
II offers a variety of multimedia options,
it was built for music. With a built-in music player, microSD
memory card slot capable of up to 8GB of storage, and
convenient MP3 player button on the keypad, it's sure to provide
hours of tunes and fun.
1. Press the MP3 key, or press and hold the Multimedia key
for 5 seconds to activate.
2. Press the library soft key. The library screen appears in
the display, showing the following options: Now Playing,
All, Artists, Albums, and Playlists.
3. Select the desired option, then do one of the following:
• If you select the All option – Use the Navigation keys to
highlight a file, then press the Play soft key to play the file.
• If you select the other options – Highlight an Artist,
Album, or Playlist, then press Open. Highlight a music file,
then press the Play soft key to play the file.
The Music Player screen appears in the display and the selected
music file/playlist begins playing.
HOw TO TAkE A PHOTO
To take a single picture using current camera settings, do the
following:
1. Press and hold the Multimedia key on the right side of the
phone. You'll see the message "Please, wait..." followed
by the camera viewfinder screen in the display.
2. Point the camera lens at your subject.
3. Using the display as a viewfinder, press TAkE when the
image that you wish to capture appears in the display.
4. Press the save soft key to save the picture to the Image
gallery in your phone.
5. Or press sEND to save the picture and include it in a
Picture Message. You will automatically be taken
to a Picture Message screen. Enter the phone number,
subject, text and press sEND.
HOw TO UsE THE cAlENDAR
Along with other included applications designed to make your life
easier, the MyShot II includes a Calendar so you can keep on top
of your busy schedule. The Calendar allows you to view current,
past and future months in a monthly view.
1. To add an event go to Menu > Tools/Utilities > calendar
and press the left soft key to add a new event.
2. Enter the Appointment name then use the Down
Navigation key to fill in the Start Date and Time as well as
the End Date and Time.
3. Scroll down to Tone to select your Tone and Alert options
for this event.
By pressing options from Calendar view you can select different
view options: Go To Date, Go to Today, Erase Old or Erase
All.
HOw TO sEND A TExT OR PIcTURE MEssAGE
Picture messages can be sent to recipients with compatible
phones or devices.
1. Press Menu, select Messages and then send Message.
2. Press create Message. Then select Picture Message.
3. The create Pic Msg screen then appears in the display
with the send To list highlighted.
4. Enter the phone number or e-mail address of the recipient
of the Picture message, then press Ok.
5. Enter a subject for the Picture message in the subject: field
using the keypad.
6. Press the Down Navigation key until the Text: field is
highlighted and enter the message text.
7. Your new picture appears in the PIc: field.
8. Press Ok to send the message. "Pic Msg sending"
appears in the display and a progress bar indicates the
send status.
HOw TO UsE AND cUsTOMIzE THE wIDGET MENU
The MyShot
II adds a new way to navigate your favorite features
®
– with Widgets. Widgets are icons that are visible and accessible
at all times from the idle screen and allow you to access specific
features instantly. Widgets include Weather, Weblinks, News, My
Account, Storefront and more.
Using the Widget Menu
Horizontally, at the bottom of the idle screen you'll see a list of
small icons – this is the Widget menu.
1. Click the Ok key button to activate the highlighted Widget.
A short description of the selected feature will display on the
screen.
2. To access the selected Widget, press the Up Navigation
key.
3. To browse and access your set of Widgets, use the left
and Right Navigation keys.
Customizing the Widget Menu
1. Scroll through the widget menu and select the
Personalize widget.
2. Click the Up Navigation key to select configure
widgets. Press the Ok key to go to the widget settings
menu.
3. Scroll through the widget settings menu to delete,
organize or add new Widgets to your phones widget
menu.
