If your answering machine is recording the caller’s message (the handset displays
and blinks simultaneously on all handsets), you can listen to the caller
before deciding whether you answer the call or not.

Listening to received messages

The symbol on the handset screen indicates that new messages have been
received.

The memo recorder plays back the messages automatically.
