1. POWER Switch
2. SELECT Switch
For selecting the desired program
settings out of the 16 preset
effects algorithms available from
DFX-160B.
3. VARIATIONS Switch
This rotary switch provides 16
different preset variations of decay
time, modulation depth,
regeneration etc. depending on
the type of program selected.
4. INPUT Volume Control
For adjustment of the signal level
being fed at the input of the effects
processor.
5. MIX Control
For adjustment of the desired mix
of dry (unprocessed) & wet
(processed) signal level available
at the output. At position 'dry', the
output signal comprises of only
unprocessed signal. In order to
raise the level of wet signal, turn
up the MIX volume control to a
desired position. At position 'wet',
only processed signal is available
at the output.

6. OUTPUT Volume Control
For adjustment of the output
signal level from the effects
processor.
7. PEAK / MUTE LED
This red LED has two modes of
indication, namely PEAK & MUTE.
In PEAK indication, the LED
flickers to indicate the presence of
excessive signal at the input of the
effects processor, resulting in
distorted output. This can be
avoided by reducing the level of
input signal through INPUT
volume control.
In MUTE indication, the LED
glows continuously in two
situations:
• When the footswitch has been
used to disable the presence of
wet signal.
• When Select or Variations switch
is being used to select desired
effects setting.
