4.8 Optical Drive Module
Removing the Optical Drive Module
To remove the optical drive module, you need to remove the secondary HDD cover first as
described in the previous section. Follow the steps below:
1. Turn the computer upside down.
2. Remove the battery and the secondary HDD cover.
3. Remove the black M2.5x8 screw securing the optical drive module.
4. Use your hand to push the module bracket and then slide the module from the bay.
