6-5. WHITE BALANCE ADJUSTMENT

1. Receive the Monoscope signal.
2. Set in the service mode and select "Picture Adjustment".
3. Adjust "Sub Brightness" so that the signal 10 IRE section
barely glows.
4. Receive the All-White pattern signal.
5. Adjust the white balance with "Green Cutoff" and "Blue Cutoff".
6. Adjust "Sub Brightness" so that the signal 100 IRE section
barely glows.
7. Adjust the white balance with "Green Drive" and "Blue Drive".
8. Repeatedly adjust the white balance for the minimum and
maximum picture setting.

6-6. SUB BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTMENT

1. Receive the Monoscope signal.
2. Set in the TT mode.
3. Press "1" + "3" (41PX1/41PX1K) or "2" + "3" (41PX1R)
button on commander.
TT13 : SUB BRIGHTNESS adjustment (41PX1/41PX1K)
TT23 : SUB BRIGHTNESS adjustment (41PX1R)
4. Adjust sub brightness 0 IRE and 10 IRE border just appear
point by "b " or "B" key of commander.
With the joystick

5. Decrease 3 steps from adjusted point.

6-7. SUB CONTRAST ADJUSTMENT
(A or AE Board)
1. Receive the PAL video color bar signal.
White 100%
1 Vp-p / 75 Ω terminated.
2. Connect the external power supply to "ABL" and ground.

3. Connect the oscilloscope between CN301 1 pin (RED DRIVE)
and ground.
4. Set PICTURE to maximum and COLOUR to minimum.
5. Set in the service mode and select "Picture Adjustment".
6. Supply DC 3.0 V from external power supply to "ABL".
7. Adjust "Sub Contrast" so that the level between black and
white is 2.5 ±0.1 Vp-p .
8. Press " (MUTE)" + "-" button to write the data.
