Important Safety Instructions!

When using your telephone equipment, basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons, including the
following:
x This unit is NOT waterproof. DO NOT expose this unit to rain or moisture.
x Do not use this product near water, for example, near a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen
sink or laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool.
x Avoid using a telephone (other than a cordless type) during an electrical storm. There
may be a remote risk of electric shock from lightning.
x Do not use the telephone to report a gas leak in the vicinity of the leak.

PreParING YoUr HeaDSet

attach earpiece Loop or Headband
x Choose the appropriate size Earpiece Loop.
x Push the selected Earpiece Loop or Headband
eyelet onto headset mounting peg.

Charge the Battery

1. Connect the AC adapter to the
charge cradle jack and to a wall
outlet.
2. Place the headset in the charging
cradle with the status LED
facing forward. If the LED
doesn't light up, reseat the
headset or connect the charger
to a different outlet.
3. When the headset is fully charged, the status LED will show blue.

Charge the headset completely (about 3 hours) before using it.
#
Do not charge the headset when the ambient temperature is below
0° C (32°F) or above 40°C (104°F).

from the display menu selection, and then press

The status LED alternately blinks slow to fast blue and red while registering.
When registered, a confirmation tone sounds at the phone base and the
headset LED flashes blue once every 10 seconds.

Pick up the headset and press ON/OFF/TAlK . Listen for a dial tone. (Press ON/
to hang up.)

Cleaning the headset

If necessary, remove the Ear Cap and Earpiece loop. Dampen a lint-free cloth with water or
a cleaner specially designed for electronics, and gently wipe the headset clean.
Do not expose this product to liquid (water, alcohol, etc.) or
submerse in liquid for any reason.
