Startup System Trouble Found When the Zuvo Water Filtration System is initially plugged in it will beep ONE time. If system trouble is found, the Zuvo system will beep FIVE times every 30 seconds. Once the Zuvo system is plugged in and has beeped ONE time, the system needs to be flushed with COLD Action Possible Problem water prior to drinking or using the water. The Zuvo Water Filtration System contains a high-intensity ultraviolet (UV) light that can damage tissues in the eye. The UV light cannot travel through the plastic housing. However, removing the filter requires that the top cap be removed, exposing the lamp.
How To Replace UV Lamp 4. Pull the module straight out of the unit. The lamp should be replaced whenever it fails to light during operation.
