Trouble Shooting

Problem
The camera does not
work
The camera does not
take a picture when I
press the shutter
release button
The flash does not fire
Possible Cause
The power is off
The batteries are insert-
ed incorrectly
The batteries are low or
drained
The camera is not in
shooting mode
You did not press the
shutter release button
hard enough
The memory card is full
The camera is still saving
the last image you take
The flash is still recharg-
ing
The batteries are low
You did not insert the
memory card
The battery power is low

Solution
Press the power button to
turn it on
Reload the batteries cor-
rectly
Replace batteries with new
ones
Rotate the mode dial to
shooting mode
Press the shutter release
button all the way down
Replace another memory
card, upload the images to
a computer or delete all
images
Wait until the camera fin-
ishes storing the image
Wait for a few seconds
until the recharging is com-
pleted.
Replace batteries with new
ones
Insert the memory card
Replace batteries with new
ones
Switch to other flash modes
