Connecting USB devices
Universal Serial Bus (USB) is a new serial bus design that is capable of cascading
low-/medium-speed peripherals (less than 12 Mbps) such as a keyboard, mouse,
joystick, scanner, printer and modem. With USB, complex cable connections can
be eliminated.
Your computer comes with two USB ports located on the right panel. These ports
allow you to connect additional serial devices to your computer without using up
its system resources.
To connect a USB device, simply plug the device cable into either of the USB
ports
(black port) on the right panel.
Note: Most USB devices have a built-in USB port which allows you to
daisy-chain other devices.
