Playing the iPod/iPhone

The Lightning connector works with
iPhone 5, iPod touch (5th generation)
and iPod nano (7th generation).
USB works with iPhone 5, iPhone 4S,
iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch
(3rd, 4th and 5th generation), iPod
classic and iPod nano (4th through 7th
generation).

For iPhone 5, iPod touch (5th
generation) or iPod nano (7th
generation)
Press iPod.
For other iPod/iPhone models
Press USB.

Connect the iPod/iPhone.
For iPhone 5, iPod touch (5th
generation) or iPod nano (7th
generation)
Connect the iPod/iPhone to the
Lightning connector.
For other iPod/iPhone models
Connect the iPod/iPhone to the
(USB) port, using the USB cable
supplied with the iPod/iPhone.
