How to Define the Model Suffix (NTSC or PAL model)

There are eight kinds of DMC-S2 and DMC-S5, regardless of the colours.
• a) DMC-S2 (Japan domestic model)
• b) DMC-S2P
• c) DMC-S2EB/EF/EG/EP, DMC-S5EB/EF/EG
• d) DMC-S2EE,DMC-S5EE
• e) DMC-S2GT
• f) DMC-S2GK
• g) DMC-S2GN,DMC-S5GN
• h) DMC-S2PU/GA/GC/GF, DMC-S5PU/GA/GF
What is the difference is that the "INITIAL SETTINGS" data which is stored in Flash-ROM mounted on MAIN P.C.B..
3.4.1.
Defining methods:
To define the model suffix to be serviced, refer to the nameplate which is putted on the bottom side of the Unit.
NOTE:
After replacing the MAIN P.C.B., be sure to achieve adjustment.
