If the Pro1 T701 system does not operate automatically after replacing the battery, ensure the thermostat is properly reattached to the backplate. Check that the AA batteries are installed correctly and are new. Also, verify that the system and fan switches are set to the desired modes (HEAT, COOL, or AUTO). If the battery icon still appears or the system remains inoperable, recheck connections or replace the batteries again.

"LO" on the main screen of the Pro1 T701 thermostat means the current room temperature is lower than the thermostat's measuring range.

To change the batteries in the Pro1 IAQ T701 thermostat, follow these steps:

1. Locate the battery door on the thermostat.
2. Open the battery door to access the battery compartment.
3. Remove the old AA batteries.
4. Insert two new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
5. Close the battery door.

Replace the batteries immediately when the battery icon appears to avoid system inoperability.

The Pro1 IAQ T701 thermostat may display a temperature of 70 instead of 78 after the heat is switched on because the display shows the current room temperature, not the setpoint temperature. When the heat is turned on, the thermostat will gradually warm the room until it reaches the set temperature of 78. The display will update as the room temperature increases.

The temperature setting may not change on the Pro1 IAQ T701 when the heat is switched on if the batteries are low. If the battery icon appears, replace the AA batteries immediately, as failure to do so may result in the heating and cooling system becoming inoperable.

The "Cool ON" icon flashes steadily, and the system turns off on a Pro1 IAQ T701 thermostat due to a compressor delay feature. This is a normal function to protect the system from damage, and the delay will last for approximately 5 minutes.

Using AC function. Temperature is set at 75 degrees. It will activate at 76 degrees but it will not shut off until 74 degrees. It runs an extra 45 minutes after it reaches th e set temperature and only shuts off when it reaches one degree lower than the setting. Can I set it to shut off when it reaches room temperature setting.
