Trouble Shooting Guide
Problem
AC Mains or Generator power is
connected but "Power" LED will not
illuminate.
•
Generator voltage too low.
•
Blown fuse (Generator voltage
too high).
DC charging power is connected but
"Power" LED will not illuminate.
•
Voltage not within limits.
•
Bad connection.
•
Blown fuse.
"Charging" LED keeps flashing.
•
Discharge button has been
pressed.
•
Batteries or Charger too hot.
•
Batteries or Charger too cold.
•
Batteries over-discharged.
•
Batteries faulty.
Solutions
•
Check generator output.
•
Check generator output and fuses in
AC input socket. Replace if blown.
(Refer Figure 6.)
•
Refer to Specifications for limits.
•
Check connection of DC power lead
plug and crocodile clips.
•
Check fuses in AC input socket.
Replace if blown. (Refer Figure 6.)
•
If discharge is not required, remove
and replace one battery end cap to
reset Charger.
•
Batteries will not charge if above
45°C. Place Charger in cool place
and wait for batteries to cool down.
•
The batteries will not charge if below
0°C. Place batteries and Charger in
warmer place.
•
Leave in Charger for 1 hour. If
"Charging" LED still flashing,
replace batteries.
•
Replace batteries.
