To enjoy a 7.1 channel system
You can enjoy the more realistic surround sound
effect of 7.1 channels when you use the Wireless
Surround Speaker Kit (WAHT-SBP2, optional).
For details, refer to the operating instructions of
the Wireless Surround Speaker Kit.
In this case, set [Surround Back] in [Speaker
Settings] to [Yes] (page 46).
For the S-AIR receiver
You can enjoy the system's sound in another
room by using the S-AIR receiver.

The home menu appears on the TV screen.

Press 1-/+ to select [S-AIR Settings],

The [S-AIR Settings] display appears.

• [Party]: The S-AIR receiver outputs
sound according to functions set on the
unit.
• [Separate]: You can set the desired
function for the S-AIR receiver while unit
functions do not change.

The setting is made.

When you select [Separate] in Step 6,
press S-AIR CH on the S-AIR receiver
to select the function.
The S-AIR receiver's function changes as
follows.
"MAIN UNIT" --. "TUNER FM" --.
"AUDIO" --. ...
To enjoy the same function as the unit,
select "MAIN UNIT."

Adjust the volume on the S-AIR
receiver.
For the S-AIR receiver
You can enjoy the S-AIR receiver while the unit
is in standby mode by setting [Standby] to [On].

• [On]: You can enjoy the S-AIR receiver
while the unit is in standby mode or turned
on. The power consumption during
standby mode increases.
• [Off]: You cannot enjoy the S-AIR
receiver while the unit is in standby mode.

• When you tum the system off while [Standby] is set
to [On], "S-AIR" flashes (when wireless transmission
between the unit and S-AIR receiver is not activated),
or lights up (when wireless transmission between the
unit and S-AIR receiver is activated) in the front
panel display.
