Congratulations! You have just acquired the exceptional raclette grill ELSA.
She will give you great pleasure and help you to prepare a nice traditional
raclette where melted cheese from standard raclette blocks is scraped off
onto the plates!
As with all domestic electrical appliances, particular care is needed with
this raclette grill also, in order to avoid injury, fire damage or damage to
the appliance. Please study these operating instructions carefully before
using the raclette grill for the first time and follow the safety advice on the
appliance itself.

Important safety instructions

Please read through the operating instructions carefully before you
use the raclette grill ELSA for the first time and keep them safely
for later reference; if necessary pass them on to the next owner.
Stadler Form refuses all liability for loss or damage which arises as
a result of failure to follow these operating instructions.
Authorised use
The appliance is only to be used in the home for the purposes described in
these instructions. Unauthorised use and technical modifications to the ap-
pliance can lead to danger to life and health.
Unauthorised users
People who are not familiar with the operating instructions, children, and
people under the influence of alcohol or drugs should be allowed to use the
raclette grill only under supervision.
Power supply
Connect the appliance to an AC supply only. Note the voltage information
given on the underside of the appliance.
Mains cable
Never use damaged extension cables.
Never pull the mains cable over sharp edges, or allow it to become trapped.
Never remove the mains plug from the socket by pulling on the mains
cable, or with wet hands
Position/storage
Do not use this raclette grill close to a bath, shower or swimming pool (mini-
mum distance of 3 m). Position the appliance so that people cannot touch
it from the bath.
Do not position the appliance close to a source of heat. Do not expose the
mains cable to any direct effect of heat (such as a hot-plate, naked flame,
the hot sole-plate of an iron, or a stove, for example). Protect the mains
cable against oil.
Take care that when in use the appliance is firmly supported, and that it is
not possible to trip over the mains cable.
The appliance is not splash-proof.
Do not store or operate the appliance in the open air.
Store the appliance in a dry place, inaccessible to children (in its packaging).
