INSTALLATION
The
unit
should
be
placed
on
a horizontal
surface
in
a
location
which
will
not
interfere
with
free
air
circulation
around
the
sides
and
rear
of
the
unit.
Avoid
locations
in
direct sunlight or in
areas
of
excessive
heat
or
humidity,
to
prevent
damage
to
the
cabinet
or
components.
CARTRIDGE
STORAGE
Cartridge
should
not
be
stored where
it
is
likely
to
be
subjected
to
{irect
sunlight,
high humidity,
and particularly
strong
magnetic
fields
(e.g.
motor
driven tools, television
sets,
radios, etc.).
Db
not
touch
the tape
with
bare
hands and
protect
it
from
dust and
dirt.
MAINTENANCE
D-ust
and
dirt
easily
adhere
to
head,
capstan
shaft and contact
piece.
Moisten
a
cotton
applicator
in
alcohol
and
clean
gently
until
all
traces
of
dirt
are removed. Reproduction
will
be
iriproved
and
at
the
same
time
steady tape travef
speed
will
be
assured.

AFTER EACH
USE
When
END
INDICATOR
LAMP
lights,
pull
cartridge straight
out.
If
lef-t unremoved,
it
may
cause
deformation
of
the
pinch rofler, which
will
result
in
inconsistent tape
speed.

does
not
function properly,
