    3.0 APPLICATIONS The diagrams below illustrate connections and functions for HBT200 Series extension applications. These functions can be combined in the same system. Serial Control A control system sends RS-232 commands to the TV to control on/off, input selection, etc. The TV can respond with a confirmation message.

    HBT200 system. To control a TV or other device at the receiver end (zone location) connect an IR sensor or control device output to the HBT200T IR input, and connect an IR emitter to the HBT200R output (see illustrations).

    6.0 TROUbLESHOOTING • For 1080p resolution, first make certain that the input cable is as short as possible and none of the HDMI cables are more than three meters long. HDMI cable design and quality are extremely important in long cable runs where capacitance can severely effect performance.

    If any Audio Authority product fails due to defects in materials or workmanship within one year from the date of the original sale to the end-user, Audio Authority guarantees that we will replace the defective product at no cost. Freight charges for the replacement unit will be paid by Audio Authority (Ground service only).
