Viewing New Received Messages

1. When you receive a new message, the new message
icon will appear at the top of your screen.
2. Open the Notification Bar and select the message. For
more information, refer to "Notification Panel" on page
34.

From a Home screen panel, touch
touch the new message to view it.
The selected message appears in the display.
3. To play a multimedia message, touch
• To pause playback of the multimedia message,
touch .
4. To scroll through the message (if additional text pages
have been added), touch the screen and scroll up or
down the page.

Touch and hold a message bubble to display the
following options:
• Delete: Delete the selected message bubble from the
thread.
• Copy text: Copy the selected message bubble from the
thread.
• Forward: Forward the selected message bubble to a
new recipient.
• Lock/Unlock: Lock or unlock the selected message
bubble from being accidentally deleted.
• Share: Share or store a copy of this message using a
variety of networks and services.
• View message details: Display details for the
currently selected message bubble.
