Thank you for purchasing the Chordette Prime. In order to get the most from your product
please take a few moments to read these instructions.
Connections
There are four pairs of identical analogue inputs with RCA phono type connectors. These
can be used to connect to line level output source equipment such as the Chordette Gem
or a CD player. The USB input is bi-directional and can be used for both playback and
recording to and from a personal computer. Connect to a spare USB port on the
computer using the provided A-B USB cable. The optical TOSLink output is provided as
a digital monitor for connection to an external DAC when the USB recording output is
being used.
There is a smaller connector under the USB that is used to carry control signals to other
Chordette products such as the Gem Mk II. Refer to the individual product for manual for
more details.
