When
and the welcome screen are not
displayed, proceed to chapter 8 of the user manual to ins-
tall the satellite receiver with the TV set not filled with
HDMI.

Press P+ then P-.Wait for a few seconds
for the First Installation screen
to appear, then:
• Select your favourite language.
• Select your country.
- Check the bar graph displayed on
screen for adequate signal strength and
quality.

Press OK to start searching for channels on Astra 19.2°
East. During the search, a bar graph indicates the
channel search progress. It may take up to 20 minutes.
It is so to ensure the receiver will not miss out on
channels.
Once the scan has been successfully completed, a comple-
tion message is displayed.

Press OK to save the channels.
A new screen appears, with a message
indicating that a search for new, upgraded
software is in progress:

When an upgrade is detected, press
the green color key then OK
to start the upgrade.
It will last about 30 minutes.
The process bar is shown on the
front display.
5.2
When no upgrade is detected, press EXIT
to continue the installation process.
At the end of the installation, the receiver tunes to
channel 100 in the main TV list.

Volume control
Your remote control is set to perform volume control
through a Philips TV set. If you have a TV from another
brand, refer to paragraph 15.3 of the user manual to
adapt the brand setting of your remote control to your
TV set.
