Mounting Instructions
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the
beginning of this document including all text under subheadings therein
before set up or use of this product.
The Heater's base can be mounted to the vehicle using Mounting Screws (22)
or can be mounted using the Adhesive Strip (21) as desired.
Mounting with Screws
1.
Make certain that the Power Cord is
long enough to reach the 12V accessory
outlet from the mounting location.
2.
Use the Mounting Base (6) as a guide to
mark two holes in the mounting location.
WARNING! TO PREVENT FIRE:
Verify that installation surface has no
hidden wires or other components
before drilling or driving screws.
Mounting with Adhesive Strip
1.
Make certain that the Power Cord is
long enough to reach the 12V accessory
outlet from the mounting location.
2.
Wipe the Base (6) with alcohol
for a grease-free surface.
Allow the alcohol to evaporate.
3.
Peel off one face of the
Adhesive Strip (21). Place the strip on
the face of the Base (6) and press down
and hold for one minute to adhere.

3.
Drill pilot holes in the desired surface
slightly smaller in diameter than the
shaft of the Mounting Screws (22).
4.
Align the holes in the Mounting Base (6)
with the drilled holes.
5.
Mount the Mounting Base (6)
using Mounting Screws (22).
7.
Prepare the mounting surface
on the car following the same
procedure as indicated in the
above mentioned paragraph.
8.
Peel the strip backing carefully
and position the Base (6) on the
surface and press into place. Leave
in place for an hour before use.
